What to expect....
What are Sunday mornings like?
On Sundays we gather at 10am to worship Jesus through music and prayer. We also hold a very high view of the Scriptures and so we unapologetically make it a priority to engage with and submit to the truth of the Word. We tend to simply work through books of the Bible together and currently are focused in a series through the Book of Acts. Regardless of your current understanding of the Bible we hope that you will be inspired, challenged, and served well in your walk with the Lord.

Following the service there is always time for rich fellowship over a cup of coffee.
The Lord's Supper.
Our practice is to participate in the Lord's Supper as often as we come together, therefore we celebrate this meal every week at Community to reorient our lives in the reality of the Gospel. ​
The Gifts
At CBC we are committed to the convergence of both Word and Spirit, not only as a theological affirmation but as a part of life and ministry. We believe the Bible is the objective, infallible, and authoritative standard that governs our life and practice - and we believe the Bible teaches the continuation of the gifts. Therefore our desire is to make room in our services for the mature expression of spiritual gifts so that the people of God may be built up for every good work. What about my children?
We believe in encouraging families to worship together in our morning service while also providing age-appropriate, Biblical teaching in the context of Sunday School. Currently we have been blessed to utilize The Gospel Project curriculum for Kids as a tool to help develop a solid approach and love for engaging God's Word.

Am I expected to give money?
No. We do not usually take an offering on Sunday mornings and there is no pressure to give if you are visiting - we are just happy you're here. That said, as committed members of CBC with a desire to see God glorified in and through our ministry efforts, we do recognize the need for regular support and are deeply thankful for it.

What should I wear?
Come as you are. If you prefer to put on "Sunday's best" - we're happy to have you. If you prefer casual attire - that works great as well - we are happy to have you here as we place our focus on Christ.
